Parents should pay, in advance, by the 28th of each month. Payments are considered 'late' on the 2nd of each month. Parents may choose to pay bimonthly if approved by the director. A $40 per week late fee will be assessed for any tuition received after the 2nd of the month. If tuition is five days late, the Center reserves the right to cancel the child's enrollment.
If your child needs prescribed medicine during the day, the parent must complete and sign a Medication Form. We can only dispense prescribed medicine. Our staff can not dispense any medicine without a completed Medication Form.
You will need to provide at least one change of clothes and a large towel or blanket for the child's cot. In summer, you may also wish to provide a swim suit (and 'water shoes). The towel or blanket must be laundered at least once a week as it may become soiled during naptime. Parents usually take the child's laundry home on Fridays for laundering.
In the case of suspected child abuse, the staff will notify the N.C. Department of Social Services. State law does not require parental notification when this action is taken. A record of the case circumstances (which may include the date, nature of the referral and any results) will be kept in the child's confidential folder.
Please advise a staff member at the Center if your child has a contagious disease. The child will not be allowed to return to the center until he/she is no longer contagious. The N.C. Department of Health mandates that a child must be free of fever, vomiting and diarrhea for 24 hours before returning to the Center.
