Country Sunshine Children’s Center was founded in 1986 and was originally housed in the Macedonia Church building on Tryon Road. In 2000, the Center was moved to the newly built facility on Avent Ferry Road. The building has 8,500 square feet of finished interior space, 17,000 square feet of playground as well as plenty of parking. All of our playground equipment has been certified for safety. The Center is licensed for a maximum student population of 161 children. The State of N.C. Division of Child Development has awarded the Center a certification level of Four Stars
